An Art Advisor will find, negotiate, purchase, deliver and install a piece of art for your home or office. Most of my clients are busy and have little time to find a painting, sculpture, etc. Or they are not sure how to go about buying a piece. They want to be sure they are buying the right thing and paying the right price.
.The first step is the Creative Brief, which is an interview covering emotions, taste, size, art movements, countries, scenarios, budget, timing, etc.
.Art Advisor Recommendations will be delivered to you. The presentation contains several works by different artists within your budget, including name of the artist, where he or she lives and works, title, year, medium, size, price, shipping. Most important is the notes section containing detailed thoughts from an experienced art adviser about each piece.
.Feedback can take the form of an in-person meeting, phone call or simply by filling in the comments section provided for each work. The best feedback is your immediate emotional, illogical reaction to the work.
.A more detailed Art Advisor Recommendations presentation containing specific works and detailed information about the artist will be delivered. Artist resume, biography, interview with the artist, and advice about the particular pieces are included.
.Selection of a certain piece or artist.
.Negotiation. I negotiate with the artist or gallery or whoever in order to purchase or commission a piece.
.Delivery and Installation. I will deliver the art to your space and install it.
.A personalized Living with Your New Piece document will be provided. Included is how to clean your work, good questions to ask guests about the work, ideas of living effectively with the work and incorporating it into your art collection.
